The lake is great for all kinds of water sports. And, according to "FISHING WORLD" magazine, the White River ranks 17th among the world's most prestigious fishing destinations. Water recreation on Bull Shoals Lake	The Bull Shoals area has an easy-going atmosphere; the crime rate is one of the lowest anywhere. We also enjoy low taxes and a moderately warm climate. Medical facilities are close and they are ranked among the top in the state of Arkansas. There is also a wide selection of churches here.

Arkansas State University is near by. There are numerous resorts in the area. We have an active VFW Post and American Legion with numerous activities for members and the general public. The Rotary, Lions and Eagles are a few of the other worthwhile organizations. For the occasional or avid golfer we have an awesome 18 hole course that is located on the shores of the White River and just below the Bull Shoals Dam. Also we are proud of our Bull Shoals Theatre of the Arts, which brings in outstanding stage plays and bands. For family quality time, you will want to visit the "Top of the Ozarks Tower", the Mountain Village 1890 and the Bull Shoals Caverns. There are numerous activities and shopping opportunities in the area including crafts and antiques. Your only regret will be that you did not relocate here a whole lot sooner.
